Ilinois Tactical Officers Conference

WHAT: ITOA, the Illinois Tactical Officers Association Conference is (according the the 2016 description) a "dynamic 5-day training event [...] with multiple critical incident debriefs and educational seminars. Sunday Night the action continues with our fantastic vendor show and pig roast”. 2017 will be the 30th ITOA conference.

WHERE: Hoffman, Illinois (about 1 hour drive from downtown Chicago)

WHEN: TBD - ("The annual conference is typically held in November in west suburban Chicago.")

WHAT THEY SAY IT IS: "The annual training conference advances the education and professionalism of law enforcement officers, particularly those in emergency response functions. The first conference drew 160 officers and subsequent conferences have drawn more, with the 2016 conference attended by 700 officers throughout the United States."

WHO: "We always have a large attendance that includes Officers from Federal, State and County agencies as well as Military personnel. While the majority of the participants are from Illinois, Officers from many other states attend. Approximately 25% of the participants are ranking Officers from their agencies" (from 2015 description).
