Keep Space For Peace: Action Lockheed-Martin in Sunnyvale, CA
October 5, 2009 @ Noon

On Monday of Keep Space For Peace Week, the vigil at Lockheed-Martin will focus on their satellite technology and the call to employees to resist the works of war.
Come to the peace vigil @ noon at the light rail station at 5th and Mathilda in Sunnyvale.
You can park on 5th Avenue or take the light rail.
Bring banners, posters, joyful noise and your eternal hope for a nuclear-free world!
Military satellites are instrumental for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or “drones”) and their guided missiles that are killing people and any hope for peace in Iraq and Central Asia. They are also making all of our lives lived under constant surveillance or the threat thereof.

For more information about this particular vigil, call (408) 221 3424 or see: WeVigil.org or tna.lovarchy.org
For more about the annual Keep Space for Peace Week (Oct. 3-10) which is focusing attention on the drones, visit Space4Peace.org.
