Stay Tuned: WIN's Final issue!

In production now: The final issue of WIN Magazine. WRL has been putting out regular print publications for 70 years, starting with WRL News in 1945, but that long run is coming to an end. Regrettably, WRL will cease production of a print publication with WIN's Spring 2015 issue.

The issue is a document for the ages, a double issue on high-quality paper that examines the intersections of activism and communications past, present, and future from a wide range of perspectives. It features contributions covering almost half a century of movement journalism and nonviolent activism from people who produced all three magazines. But if it looks back - and it does, with reminiscences, graphics, and excerpts from the original WIN (1966-1983), The Nonviolent Activist (1984-2005), and the second incarnation of WIN that began in 2006 - the issue also looks forward at how we can best communicate in the digital age, with assessments from many of those very experienced movement journalists.

Prior to receiving the farewell issue, a regular issue of WIN will be coming your way. That issue's  theme is the militarization of the police, a current focus of WRL's and many others' organizing in U.S. and globally.

Look for the farewell in late April. You're going to want to keep it.
