[*Note - A Trainer's Role: A nonviolent action trainer is someone who can create a learning experience for a group and who facilitates this learning process. A trainer must be knowledgeable regarding the topics of the training, but is not “the teacher.” A trainer's goal is to guide the participants to learn from and with each other, not to tell people what to think and do. Trainers usually work together as a team, with less experienced trainers paired with more experienced trainers.]
