In collaboration with the Toolbox for Education and Social Action  (TESA), WRL recently released exciting new educational resources from role plays to handouts to conversation starters to group activities--designed to help you put the WRL Tax Day Pie Chart flyer into practice, whether on the street as you hand it out, in community groups, or in classrooms.

The War Resisters League is the oldest secular pacifist organization in the United States. Since 1923, WRL has been nonviolently resisting war at home and abroad. The police have been spying on WRL in many forms and for many years. If they had been listening, they would have heard concerned people coming together to stand with those directly impacted by US foreign policy.

Members and organizations of the traditional peace movement have been increasingly coming to recognize the importance not only of partnering and “joining forces” with groups and organizations led primarily by poor people and people of color, but also of taking leadership from those groups and learning how to be effective allies to them through our organizing efforts.
