“Your tax dollars at work? DON’T pay!” Poster

Promote War Tax Resistance with this vintage 3-color offset printed poster from the vaults. Peg Averill’s poster art was featured in a post from WRL’s Centennial History blog. This one is not in Averill’s usual drawn style, but instead a money/airplane montage, with a oddly humanitarian quote from Eisenhower on it: “Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed…”
