Activists Call on DOJ to End Widespread Teargas Torture in US Prisons before Trump Inauguration

 

New testimony from 21 states - backed by a petition signed by 13,000 - reveals the breadth of arms industry reach inside U.S. prisons & jails.

 

WHO: Representatives of War Resisters League, Witness Against Torture, Black Movement Law Project, among other groups

WHAT: Members of advocacy organizations against torture as well as police and prison violence will hold a press conference on the steps of the Department of Justice, and deliver a petition of over 13,000 signatures.
